In this assignment, I wrote a reflection on both myself and my peers.

For our engineering proposal assignment, I was assigned to group four. In my group, I had two other people, Samir and Tahsin. At first, it was a little rough to communicate through blackboard, so we all decided that we should change our method of communication to something we all have. We decided that we would use WhatsApp as our main method of communication. After we all created a group chat, we got straight to work. We each divided up the work relatively equally. For example, I did the Gantt chart, while Samir and Tahsin worked on the group contract. While I was doing the Gantt chart, I was trying to figure out who would have a better schedule to work on what different parts of the project needed to be done. For example, Samir was really good at brainstorming topics, so I had him and I think of our project idea. Additionally, Tahsin was really good at finding resources. He helped us find some good sources for our project. As we continued throughout this project, we were able to communicate amongst ourselves and complete our assignments in a timely manner. There were a few small hiccups in the project, however, because Tahsin stopped communicating with us for a few days without notice. After a few attempts of trying to reach him, he was back and making up for his lost work, even though it might have cost us a day. All in all, I believe we all were able to pull our weight for this project.

I believe I did well on this project. I will admit that there are a few things I could’ve done better. For example, although I was able to edit and revise, there were parts of the assignment I knew I could’ve put more effort into. Other than that, I believe I did well on this assignment because I was able to properly communicate and schedule appropriate assignments for my peers that had busy schedules.
